No Babies =(

I am getting quite a few requests for babies so I just wanted to put a note here to let folks know that I don’t have any tame babies right now. I am very busy working on a shopping cart for my polymer clay website and trying to get things made to fill it and I can’t set aside time to hand feed until fall 2012 at the earliest. At that time I do *hope* to have at least 3 pairs giving me sexable babies and have at least 6 guaranteed males babies to handfeed. I will be taking names for a waiting list at the end of the summer/early fall for those male babies. If you think you might be interested, you should follow my facebook page, as that’s where I’ll be posting about this. Those babies will be $75 each, and once they start feathering $25 of that will need to go down as a deposit to reserve your baby.

Thankyou! If you have any questions, please email lynn@desertlovebirdsaviary.com

At long last, more baby pics!

The Babies all have homes!

I know, it’s been too long, I really don’t like going so long without posting their pics and I like to take them more frequently but with so many it is hard just to get pics, much less get good ones and edit and post them, to top it off I had quite a few polymer clay pieces to make to ship out before Christmas, which wasn’t easy with all these babies lol So, enough whining, here are the baby pics!

I have one female (1) that is ready to go home,  she’s the bright green one, she’ll have a white face and chest with a creamy peach brow *She is sold*. 2 that I think might actually be males, one is olive with a dark butt (2), will have a creamy chest and face and a peach brow, the other is a medium green (3), she’ll have a white face and chest, peach brow, both ready to go home in a week. There are also the 3 babies I never meant to pull but had to, I think all 3 are females, the silver (4) is a female and I am expecting a deposit to reserve her in the mail. The other 2, one is a greenish turquoise, the other is a very blue. I’ve tried to mark the photos as good as I could remember who was in them! The younger 6 babies are all at least 2 weeks out form going home.
