The babies all have homes!

New pics of the lovebird babies! Am still working out exactly which ones are reserved at this point, I’ll be editing this when I know. Please see previous post for details about reserving a baby!

Long time no post but I am handraising babies right now, 11 to be exact! I hadn’t planned on so many but there was an issue with a first time pair and I took their 3 to raise as well. 3 of these are known males, because of their parents’ mutations I can sex their babies by mutation.2 of the male babies are blue (turquoise/white faced), the other is sea green (AquaTurquoise).

The three babies I didn’t plan on pulling include a silver (marbled/edged dilute) and a dutch blue (aqua) , both birds are currently unsexed, but I’ll do my best to sort out sex by pelvic sexing and behavior! The third baby in that group I plan on keeping if it’s a boy =)

The oldest group of 5 are also unsexed  2 of these are almost ready to go home.

Because some of these are nice colors and because some are known males (and I have several waiting on males), I am taking deposits to reserve them. A $25 deposit towards the full price, non refundable if you change your mind, fully refunded if something happens on my end that you don’t get your baby. I currently have a list to go by of who gets first dibs, some of these have been waiting some time and I’ll go down the list as I know who wants what…or doesn’t as the case may be =)

Please understand I don’t have the time to let folks come by and pick out a baby before they’re weaned, if you cannot put a deposit down without seeing the babies in person I completely understand and I will no doubt have babies that are not reserved at weaning time, while they aren’t all going to be guaranteed males, they will be sweet little babies, I raise some sweet little babies, even my females are sweet =) I take great care in making sure my babies don’t develop bad habits while with me, I don’t let them on my shoulders or on my head and I don’t let them bite my fingers. When they go home, they’re confident and outgoing but loving and snuggly as well.
