I have a pied green lovebird who I originally hand raised, she lived elsewhere for a year then came back here to live in the aviary. She has not been a great mom, though, so I have secluded and brought her back to being super sweet and tame and now she’s looking for the right home. This is a female, she will require long nights (11 hours) to keep her sweet, no mirrors, no sleepy hut/tents, small food dishes that she does not fit into, and no stuffed buddies. But she is sweet and tame and she is hand friendly. She loves fresh foods, is very healthy, is clipped, and in excellent feather. At her other home she developed a large vocabulary and with time and attention she surely would again. She wants out of the cage all the time! So she needs a home where she will be able to be out of the cage much of the day. Because she is a female and because she has been in a breeding aviary, she needs a home without other lovebirds, to keep her sweet and tame.
This little girlie has found an awesome home!
